QUALITY POLICY
Dollar Wise Quality Cleaners is a provider of fine dry cleaning, laundry and alteration services. Dollar Wise provides cleaning and repairs to garments that are either picked-up by our valet service, or dropped off by customers at our plants and depots.
Dry cleaning is a mystery. How can you clean something without using water? The reason it is called 'dry' cleaning is, not because it is dry, but because the process uses something other than water as a solvent. A solvent works better than water on oily stains, and most natural fibers would shrink or fade in water, but do not shrink or fade in a 'dry' solvent.
Today every dry cleaner in Manitoba, except Dollar Wise Quality Cleaners, continues to use a toxic chemical called Perchloroethylene, also known as PERC. We now know that PERC is a toxic chemical, harmful to human health and the environment. To get the brightest, most efficient and environmentally-friendly clean, we use the solvent DrySolv. The principal component of DrySolv is n-Propyl Bromide. This component has been shown to neither deplete the ozone layer nor contribute to global warming. Its cleaning power is stronger than the solvent used today by all other Winnipeg dry cleaners (PERC); therefore, less energy is required as the cleaning times are shorter and the temperatures are lower1. This benefits clothing with less agitation and less expansion and contraction of fibres.
It is our policy at Dollar Wise Quality Cleaners to meet and exceed all of our customers’ expectations through the quality of our cleaning and the level of our service. This is accomplished through the hiring of trained dry cleaning experts and experienced customer service representatives. Quality control and assurance are vital links in the dry cleaning and laundry process as are the use of quality assurance techniques.
We know that our immediate and future success is dependent upon satisfying our customer’s needs. We work closely with both our customers and suppliers to ensure that we have the necessary information and materials to properly satisfy their needs. Our goal is to build a relationship with our customers and suppliers to ensure that quality is never compromised.
